Ordering Information

A “T” in the model number means a built-in single pole thermostat is included. Model numbers without a “T” require a separate thermostat. For optimum comfort use a Cadet electronic wall thermostat.

These models work best at elevations under 10,000 feet.

Technical Information

UL safety standards require the heater to be placed a minimum distance of 6 inches (15.2 cm) from adjacent surfaces and 4-1/2 inches (11.4 cm) from the floor. Cadet recommends a 12-inch clearance from all surfaces for longer and cleaner performance. A 3-foot (91.44cm) minimum clearance is required for furniture or other objects placed directly in front of the heater.

Install horizontally. This heater is not approved for vertical or ceiling installation.

Electric wall heaters and thermostats work best when installed on an inside wall. We recommend installing the heater assembly after walls are finished. Heater must be cleaned every six months minimum.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Won't turn off This is my 2nd one of these in the last 3 years and they keep breaking. They will continue to heat the room past the thermostat setting and there is no way to turn it off, aside from flipping the breaker. Make them with an actual off button please.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Reliable, Excellent price, with a smile. My Wall heater, the CT/CST 402 wall hear has been proven in everyday use, year after year, In my case about 8 years, In ALL the time service. Family depended upon this unit for Life's necessary heat, and after All that time and Hard use when one side had problems, the the other side still worked well enough that I can say you Can bet your life on this unit. When It's time for part's (Nothing last's forever) The Co.and staff are very friendly, helpful, Knowledgeable, and will get you what you need "Quick" Obviously I'm very satisfied with the whole unit and support, I'm 59 and don't need problems. I Highly Recomend this unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This will heat a large room more quickly than you can imagine. I have installed several of these; one on a renovated porch and three in a new house. The heating power of this unit is remarkable. A couple of cautions: the air coming out of this is very hot, with high air-flow. It is not silent, about as loud as a normal hair dryer so be aware of that and the location you are installing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These heater heat the house quickly I live in Michigan. I was looking to replace 9 old baseboard heaters to get better heating efficiency. Since no ductwork existed (and I read ducts cause a 30% loss of heat anyways) I was looking for a more efficient way to heat the house. These heaters provide a fan to move the radiant heat out, and look like ducts anyways. This unit replaced an old 10ft baseboard heater. This unit really heats up the room quickly. The noise is equivalent to a forced air heating system I've had in the past. I was able to install the unit and thermostat within an hour including cutting the wallboard and wiring. Still waiting to see the effect on my electric bill though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long term use then failed. I installed this unit 12 years ago and have had no trouble all that time. I use it in my shop as the primary heating source. It provides more then enough heat for the 500 sq foot shop. It has operated from Oct to April 24/7 all that time. It did fail, but I consider this more then acceptable. I like it so much that I'm going to replace it with the same model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gives out a lot of heat in a short time period! What a wonderful product! Puts out a lot of heat in a short period of time, to heat a kitchen/dinette/living room area of our 500 square foot Guest House! Easy to install! Small enough on the wall, so it looks GREAT on the wall! Fits my decor beautifully!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast powerful heat. I installed three of these and they heat the rooms so fast they are hardly on. Nice and quiet and efficient. Only negative was one of three Honeywell thermostats fried and Honeywell would not replace it but Cadet did, with excellent service call handling.
