Technical Information

The multi-volt option must be configured for the correct voltage before installing the heater. The multi-watt option must be configured for the desired wattage before installing the heater.

UL safety standards require the heater to be placed a minimum distance of 6 inches (15.2 cm) from adjacent surfaces and 4-1/2 inches (11.4 cm) from the floor. Cadet recommends a 12-inch clearance from all surfaces for longer and cleaner performance. A 3 foot (91.44cm) minimum clearance is required for furniture or other objects placed directly in front of heater.

Install vertically. This heater is not approved for horizontal or ceiling installation.

Electric wall heaters work best when installed on an inside wall. We recommend installing heater assembly after walls are finished. Heater must be cleaned every six months minimum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does as advertised I bought this because it has a thermostat and overriding timer. Also the 1000 watts i I was limited to. No way could i upgrade to a 20 amp circuit. My suggestion is to offer a different grill. I would like one in stainless or brushed nickel to match my new bathroom.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Timer is great idea poorly done. Installed cadet wall heater bath 103 unit and love it warming the bathroom. However, heat does not shut off when timer reaches end of time. Directions in owner manual are slightly confusing. Heater should allow variable heat/wattage with timer shutting off. Maybe an additional switch needed to be added, but would have helped make this work properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement I bought this to replace a circa 1970's Nuline 1250 watt heater. I had to resize the drywall as the opening for the Cadet is smaller. The Cadet is so much quieter than the Nuline. The heat output is bathroom is only about 70 Sq Ft. I am satisfied with the performance of this heater. We live in the mountains @ 9300'. So there are plenty of cold mornings to contend with. I like the thermostat option with the timer. I reccomend this heater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cadet - Com-Pak Bath Wall heater replacement is quiet and heats up quite well! The Com-Pak Bath Wall heater with a chrome grill face is what was ordered. It replaced another old brand that also had a chrome face. Since the unit is always subjected to moisture, the chrome resists rust spots that could occur on a painted grill. Its heater element is coated with a non rusting finish which I think is a great feature. It has an on/off thermostat that works well. It also has a timer switch , but it has not been used yet. My master bathroom is now toasty warm. Bob

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big improvement! I'm glad I replaced our old single control wall heater with a Cadet Bath heater - having the timer that shuts it off automatically makes it worry-free for me. Also, the squirrel-cage blower is quieter than the old fan blower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Purchased this heater for a little extra heat in bath room on cold winter nites in Wisconsin. Not only do me and my wife enjoy it but our cat would like to lay in front of it all the time if he could only figure out how to turn it on. Easy to install. Thanks Neil
